My Mystical Retreat with Tom Merton
Canadian author Heather MacKenzie describes her journey of being called to serve as a channel for the spirit of a popular Trappist monk named Thomas Merton, for the purpose of her own personal spiritual growth as well as being his messenger.
Tom Merton’s life as God’s agent and prophet was ordained for the purpose of inspiring and helping Christians towards their own spiritual life by writing about his spiritual understanding of God and what it means to be a good Christian, as well as to clarify the value of monasticism in the modern age. The divine appearance of the Mystical Christ Jesus in the chapel of Our Lady of Gethsemani Abbey in Trappist, Kentucky on December 10, 1999 happened on the 30th anniversary of the death of Thomas Merton. The spirit of Thomas Merton assisted Christ Jesus with His visit by guiding the author to the monastery. The divine purpose for Christ Jesus’ presence in the chapel was to affirm that monasticism and the Sacrament of the Eucharist will continue to serve God’s plan going into the age of Aquarius. Christ Jesus is with us at the end of the age of Pisces, and He will continue to be with us going into the planetary age of Aquarius. Jesus says, “Remember, I am always with you, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20. American Trappist monk Thomas Merton was a world-famous Catholic writer, mystic and prophet. His autobiography "The Seven Story Mountain" became a best seller. He had written over 50 books and 100 poems. His unexpected death in Bangkok, Thailand in 1968 was a shock for many of his followers. My Mystical Retreat with Tom Merton book celebrates his life and spirit more intimately than ever before. |
