My Mystical Retreat with Tom Merton

Picture
The author described her experience of being contacted by and becoming a channel for the spirit of an American Trappist monk named Thomas Merton.

During the author's spiritual retreat at Tom Merton's monastery, the Abbey of Gethsemani in Kentucky, she experienced mystical visions that were orchestrated by God. The final mystical vision was the divine appearance of the mystical Christ Jesus at the beginning of and during the Sacrament of the Eucharist service within the monastery chapel. The author's spiritual eyes also saw the mystical spirit of Tom Merton who served as Christ’s companion and witness to the miraculous divine visit. Trappist Monk Damien Thompson was overshadowed by Christ Jesus who ministered Holy Communion bread to everyone on the morning of December 10, 1999. The miraculous appearances happened on the 30th anniversary date of Tom Merton’s death.

The miraculous divine event served within the monastery served as the bridge between the Age of Pisces to the Age of Aquarian. The Christian Eucharistic tradition will continue to serve Christians in the Aquarian Age. Jesus says, “Remember, I am always with you, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20. The author Heather MacKenzie and Tom Merton served as witnesses to God's truth. James Findley who was a student and friend of Tom Merton says that Merton was the "lineage holder of the Christian tradition and the mystical lineage in the monastery."

After the author’s retreat, monk Damien Thompson was elected by his brother monks to be the new abbot of the monastery due to the retirement of abbot Kelly.

American Catholic Trappist monk Thomas Merton was a world-famous writer, poet, mystic and prophet. His autobiography The Seven Story Mountain book became a best seller. He had written over 50 books and 100 poems. His spiritual wisdom and insights had served to guide Catholics and other Christians in their faith. His unexpected death in Bangkok, Thailand in 1968 was a shock for many of his followers.
